Did you know that if you perform twists, locs or braid styles in Tennessee that you do not have to enroll in a cosmetology program? You only have to obtain a braiders certificate. In order to receive that certificate you must complete a health, sanitation and hygiene training course.
We’re proud to announce that Fabellous Beauty Lounge is hosting a hands on interactive course for braiders. This course consists of health and sanitation training, which is required by the State of Tennessee. All classes will be taught by a licensed cosmetology instructor. Participants will leave with valuable information and a certificate of completion. In addition, the instructor will help participants register with The Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology.
Who can attend:
Any person 12 & older with braid, twist and loc experience
Upon completing this formal training participants will be fully compliant with the state, allowing them to work in or open a salon.
